Cause for Paws Pageant is an annual benefit pageant that helps to support Oregon Humane Society shelter abandoned animals, fight cruelty and neglect, and work to build a caring, compassionate community.
We invite you to join us and make a difference!

2022 Pageant: Cause for Paws Pageant titles are appointed this year with very low registration fees. (Next year's pageant will be held in person in May of 2023.) For complete details, please visit our Registration Page.

Registration Deadline: May 31.
To be considered for a Supreme Title, you must register by May 31. Age Division state titles will be available as appointed titles until all royalty positions are filled.

Events & Appearances:  Our first appearance was May 14 at OHS Doggie Dash, Portland, Oregon. Our next event will take place sometime in June to present our final fundraising tally and possibly some other in-person donations to Oregon Humane Society once we know royalty availability.

All proceeds from Cause for Paws Pageant, 2022 will be donated to Oregon Humane Society serving animals in need in Oregon and SW Washington State.

Emma Claire EllisEmma Claire Ellis founded 'Queens For Animals' when she was 12 years old, out of her love for the Oregon Humane Society, and dream to combine her love of pageantry to make a difference. She helped to raise thousands of dollars for the animal shelter during her years as director. Today she is 24 years old, attending the University of Texas at Austin to receive her degree in Journalism, still with the same love of animals she had 12 years ago. Cause for Paws Pageant is honored to take over where Emma left off and continue in her footsteps to help animals in need. ❤
