Pageant Event Information

We are doing something unusual for the inaugural Cause for Paws Pageant. It's going to be virtual with very low entry fees and some flexible deadlines. (Next year's pageant will be held in person.)

Virtual Pageant Rules for 2022

1) Register for our Doggie Dash Team. https://secure.oregonhumane.org/doggiedash/PawsPageant

Raise or donate a minimum of $65 to Oregon Humane Society via your individual Doggie Dash page that you set up in Step 1. (Or a minimum of $100 if you are over age 6 and want to compete for a Supreme Title.)

2) Submit an email answering questions and describing why you want to be 2022-23 royalty. (Directions can be found on our Registration Page.)

3) Pay a $50 pageant registration fee.

The deadline to qualify for Supreme Titles and all prize packages is May 7th. Prize packages and our first round of titles will be awarded May 14th in person at the OHS Doggie Dash. (If you can't make it on the 14th, we will make arrangements to get your prizes and titles to you later.)

IF there are any titles that have not been earned by May 7, you may still apply to join this year's royalty following the above rules, but you will not qualify for any prize packages.

The deadline for the second round of titles is May 31st. If, after June 1st, there are still any titles available, we will post a notification and you can contact us if you or someone you know is interested in earning a remaining title.
