Cause for Paws Pageant titles are appointed this year with very low registration fees. (Next year's pageant will be held in person in May of 2023.) If you are interested in applying, please do the following:

1) Submit an email answering questions and describing why you want to be 2022-23 Paws Pageant royalty. (email instructions can be found below)

2) If you are appointed a Paws Pageant title holder, you will need to pay a nominal pageant registration fee between $30-$50 depending on title awarded. We will send you instructions in our reply email.

3) Donate a minimum of $65 to our Doggie Dash Team by May 31st. https://secure.oregonhumane.org/doggiedash/PawsPageant

NOTE: If you are over the age of 6 and interested in applying for a Supreme Title, a minimum donation of $100 will be required.

Please submit Contestant emails to pawspageant@gmail.com

  • Contestant Name.
  • Parent Name if Contestant is under age 18.
  • Contestant current age and birth date including year.
  • Mailing address and phone number. 
  • Preferred way to contact you.
  • Answers to the following email questions: 

Email Questions

Ages 12+ Contestants ages 12 and over must answer themselves.

  1. Describe why you would like to be Paws Pageant Royalty for 2022-23.
  2. Give examples of ways you plan to represent Paws Pageant if you are selected as a title holder.
  3. Tell us how you have supported the Humane Society or helped animals in need in the past.

Ages 6-11 Contestants ages 6-11 must answer questions themselves.

  1. Describe why you would like to be Paws Pageant Royalty for 2022-23.
  2. Tell us how you have helped animals in the past.
  3. Tell us about your own pet(s) or your favorite animal.

Ages 4-5 Parents may help contestants ages 4-5 answer questions.

  1. Tell us why you would like to be Paws Pageant Royalty for 2022-23.
  2. Tell us a story about your pet(s) or your favorite animal.
    Drawings scanned and uploaded are fine too.

Ages 0-3 Contestant parents must write an email describing how they would like to help Cause for Paws Pageant during their child's reign.

Community Service Contestants interested in competing for this very special title, should register for their current age division and then visit our Community Service Page.
